As a first-time mother, I was CLUELESS about which baby products were worth having and which ones were worth splurging for. I read blog post after blog post about which items were necessary and it was so overwhelming! Which ones were labeled as a “must-have” and which ones were just extra? Also, was it possible to have cute baby products without breaking the bank? YES.
Every mother is different and every mother’s tool belt will hold different gadgets and gizmos, but I want to share what my tool belt looks like and which products worked the best for us.
This one looks like an “extra.” I know. It’s $30, it’s leather… But man oh man. This little sucker was a lifesaver for us! Newborns have a tendency to “go” before the diaper’s secure and this leather mat made it so easy to clean and wipe away. I also love how lightweight and easy it is to fold up in your diaper bag. Not to mention it’s SO CUTE.
Pacifier clips are a must have. It makes it easier to keep track of (those things are SO easy to lose), and it doesn’t fall on the ground and get dirty the moment it falls out of their mouth. I love this option to engrave their name onto the clip because it can be a special keepsake!
Who says that diaper bags HAVE to look like diaper bags? Anything leather is just classy and cute in my opinion. This bag is not only so cute, but it’s less than $45! Leather diaper bags can easily range from $75-$200… Or more. This is such a steal and the quality is amazing.
Nothing’s worse than fighting a hungry baby in public while you’re trying to nurse and keep them covered at the same time… This infinity cover was so amazing for me and made nursing in public a dream. Plus it doubles as a carseat cover!
It’s so hard to get anything done around the house with a newborn if you don’t have a comfortable baby carrier! My Wildbird Ring Sling was so great for those days that she only wanted to be held… And I wanted to make dinner. It was so comfortable for both of us and the fabrics are so beautiful! This one is a bigger investment but it lasts.
These are some of my favorite “must-have” products that allowed me to express my style! That’s something that was important to me and I’m not ashamed to say it. I hope this helped some of you! Good luck mamas! Sending lots of love.
