My grandma has always been terrific at capturing and documenting memories for our family to enjoy for years to come. Sometimes we will gather around her table and flip through old photo albums while we recall the moments within the pages. Even the most simple pictures have become little treasures.
I believe that it is my grandma’s knack for photography that has sparked my need to document these days. Not just vacations and birthdays and soccer games, but also the days we don’t get out of our pajamas or leave the house. So, I wanted to put together a little list of tips for capturing your kids.
If I have learned anything about documenting my family it is this…don’t overthink it. Some of my favorite pictures are blurry photos that will never make it to Instagram, but you better believe that they will be in an album on a shelf to enjoy for years to come. Happy snapping!
Brittney Fletcher is a small town girl married to her high school sweetheart and best friend. They have two sweet little boys and are currently in the process of becoming foster parents. When she’s not chasing toddlers she can probably be found taking pictures or decorating something. She recently became a stay at home mom and is soaking up every messy moment of it. She loves adventures with her family…even if they are simply to the farm to feed the cows. She is thrilled to share a bit of her heart here on The Mamahood, a community that has richly blessed her!
