3 Ingredient Homemade Hand Scrub

handscrub

The other night I had a little “girls night” on periscope and shared how I make my own hand scrub. I use these for little thank you gifts or something sweet to give to a friend (or keep for myself, let’s be honest.) They would be PERFECT for a teacher gift, christmas gift, birthday gifts, or just a “thinking of you” gift for a friend who needs some TLC.

Here’s all you need:

Sugar

Coconut oil

10 drops of essential oil of your choice (this is optional, but some of my favorites are serenity, lemon, and peppermint)

That’s it! I just mix the sugar and oil together until it’s the consistency I like, not too runny but not too stiff. And then I add the drops at the end. I don’t like it too potent so I add them slowly and if it needs more I add it in.

The jars I use are from the dollar section at Target (my happy place)!

Then I just used bakers twin, letter stamps, and a tiny clothes pin to keep the popsicle stick in place.

So easy right!?

Let me know if you end up trying it! And I won’t tell if you secretly make it for yourself. 😉

Xo,

Aubrey

What a cute idea! I would love to have a little jar of this in our bathroom or in the shower!
